Sultana
Filmed in the Winter/Spring of 2023, this project had the hefty task of recreating the Delhi Sultanate, which is now present day India/Pakistan/Afghanistan, in the year 1236 A.D. The biggest challenges included our budget of less than $2000 and a tremendous lack of primary sources or references in the media to this time period.
After You Go (MV)
Had the pleasure of production designing this music video in the Summer of 2023. From choosing between birthday cake colors and blowing hundreds of balloons, we transformed a Silver Lake apartment into the birthday party of the century, turned three trees into a magical forest, and took away all the life from the place to create a hollow home worth reminiscing in.
Rumo & Vars
The first ever short film I directed, Rumo & Vars should be more appropriately called Trial & Error. Having COVID-19 for a majority of pre-production, a lot of this was done remotely. The task at hand was to create the afterlife, and after everything fell apart at the last second, we opted for an oasis in the clouds, which was created using stuffed animal fluff, LED lights, hot glue, sheets, and flats. Thus, the In-Between was born. Head to the “Film” section to watch it!
